Mihaela Marinova
Mihaela Marinova is one of the most powerful voices on the Bulgarian pop scene. A finalist on X Factor Bulgaria, she’s also the winner of hit TV shows like “Like Two Drops of Water” and “The Masked Singer.” Her songs and videos have racked up over 140 million streams across platforms, and most of her singles have hit #1 on Bulgaria’s official airplay chart.
Right from her 2016 debut, Mihaela made a mark as an artist with standout vocals and huge potential. Her breakout track “Stapka napred” earned her multiple awards, including Song of the Year, Best Debut, and Video of the Year at the Bulgarian Music Awards. In 2020, she dropped her first studio album, also titled “Stapka napred”, which took home the Album of the Year award.
In 2021, her melodic single “Serial” became the theme song for the second season of one of Bulgaria’s top TV dramas, Path of Honor. She followed that up in late 2022 with her second album, To Infinity.
Over the past few years, Mihaela has been working closely with international producers, exploring new sounds and pushing her music beyond Bulgaria. This includes tracks like “Whispers,” “Tiempo,” and “Need You.” In September 2024, she released her third album, Black Butterfly—a record inspired by the ideas of transformation, freedom, and beauty in motion. The album features 10 new tracks, including her hit single “Da izbyagam,” with collaborations from artists like Pavel, Angel Dyulgerov, and producers Cris Tarcea (Monoir), Cristian Pistol, and Martin Kleveland.
Between 2022 and 2024, Mihaela joined Bulgarian superstar Lyubo Kirov on his national tours as a special guest performer. In 2024, she launched her first solo national tour, Tour 2024, playing to packed crowds in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, and Burgas. Tickets sold fast, giving fans the chance to see her live in a brand new show.
In 2025, Mihaela continues to perform songs from her latest album and released LIVE Sessions—an acoustic project featuring stripped-down versions of fan favorites from the tour. To mark 10 years since her debut, she will headline her biggest show yet—“100 мечти”—on September 12, 2025, at Vidas Art Arena in Sofia. This special open-air concert celebrates a decade of music, growth, and connection with her fans.
