ALMA is one of the most unique and standout artists in Bulgaria’s contemporary music scene. Discovered by Romanian producer Monoir, she joined Virginia Records in 2019 and released her debut single “Perfect” shortly after. The track was a massive success not only in Bulgaria but also in Poland, Russia, and Greece. Follow-up hits like “Don’t Know,” “Out of Control,” “Be Alright,” “My Mama Told Me,” and “Far Faraway” solidified ALMA’s position as one of the top pop performers in Central and Eastern Europe.

Today, ALMA has amassed over 75 million views and 50 million streams across global platforms, numerous #1 hits on Bulgaria’s official airplay chart, and a strong presence in the charts of Poland and Russia. Her songs are played in top rotations on MTV Hits, MTV Dance, and VH1. In addition to her work as a talented performer, ALMA is also recognized as one of the strongest young English-language songwriters in the region, with a distinct artistic vision and international potential.

In recent years, she has participated in several international songwriting camps in Stockholm, Trondheim, Athens, and Sofia, collaborating with renowned writers and producers from Sweden, Norway, the UK, and South Korea. In 2023, ALMA represented Bulgaria at the international music competition The Song 7, performing her original track “Dark Side of the Moon.” Her appearance marked a new chapter in her career, with deeper, more emotional lyrics and a sound that blends pop, electronic, and indie-pop aesthetics.

In 2024, she released the single “So High” in collaboration with internationally acclaimed artist Kristian Kostov. The track performed well on digital platforms and helped expand her audience beyond the region.
